Technologies in the classroom concept photo shoot

Inspiration

As an employee working for a Title 5 project, I have to create a lot of promotional material for the university. This time I had to crea¬te a poster and promotional material for the sixth day of teaching improvement. The theme of the day was “Technology in the classroom.” Because it is a fairly broad topic, I decided to take a photograph that blends technology and education. The result of the first concept was this photo.

The odd thing was that the photo was composed of things that I was in my power. I did not have to buy anything. The natural light helped a lot. The specifications of the camera were:

Camera Model : Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi
Shooting Date / Time: 15/06/2009 09:43:26 AM
Shooting Mode: Macro (Close Up)
Tv (Shutter Speed): 1 / 160
Av (Aperture Value): 4.0
Metering Mode: Evaluative Metering
Exposure Compensation: 0
ISO Speed: 400
Lens: EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Focal Length: 18.0 mm
Image Size: 3888×2592
Image Quality: Fine
Flash: Off
White Balance Mode: Auto
AF Mode: One-Shot AF
Picture Style: Standard

Then I composed the art with a header and text colors, thinking that could be used only as a cover of the invitation and program. The final composition was as follows.

Techologies in the class room foto

It was fun doing the photo. I love having the freedom to create. Unfortunately, this was not the picture or the concept used. But I am grateful that I was permitted to experiment.
